As Basetime continues to grow with new colleagues and fresh expertise, we believe it’s just as important to recognise the people who have shaped our organisation from day one. To begin our Colleagues in the Spotlights series, we are proud to feature one of our founders: Eltjo Keijer.

Eltjo has been part of Basetime from the very beginning. As a co-founder, he played a key role in establishing the vision, technology, and direction that set the foundation for what Basetime is today.

What Eltjo enjoys most about working at Basetime

The variety of challenges. The broad range of topics and projects ensures his work remains dynamic and continually stimulates creativity and problem-solving.

What energises him in his work

Driving through the Netherlands and recognising Basetime devices in the field: often unexpectedly. Hearing from friends and family who spot them as well reinforces the impact of Basetime’s solutions and motivates him every day.

The impact he strives to make

Eltjo aims to make the world a little better, and easier, through Basetime’s solutions. By providing accurate and timely information, he wants to empower customers and end users to make faster, better-informed decisions.

Why he still enjoys working at Basetime

The continuously growing and diverse team. Working collaboratively to further develop Basetime’s products, combining different perspectives, backgrounds, and ideas, remains a strong source of motivation for him.

What he is most proud of

The evolution of the Locator One. Initially developed for automated settlement rod measurements, it has become so standard in 2025 that customers now consider it indispensable. Eltjo is determined to achieve this same level of adoption in other applications.

Outside the office

He enjoys spending quality time with his daughter, especially outdoors. You’ll often find him on his road bike or gravel bike, appreciating nature, freedom, and mental clarity.

What’s new in Parvamoti? Part 3 of 3: View Movement Parallel and Perpendicular to Your Asset

For Object Monitoring projects, movement can now be viewed in relation to the actual direction of the asset.

By defining the Angle Linear Asset, Parvamoti can visualise displacement parallel and perpendicular to the structure, making it easier to understand whether movement is occurring along or across bridges, railways, roads and other linear assets.

Introducing Alerts in Parvamoti

Monitoring shouldn’t mean continuously checking a dashboard to see whether something has changed.

With Alerts in Parvamoti, users can define relevant movement conditions and automatically notify the right people by email, SMS or both when those conditions are met.

That means less time spent manually checking monitoring dashboards, greater oversight of changing conditions and more focus on what happens next.

With the latest Alerts V2 update, we’ve expanded this functionality with more precise device targeting, new movement comparison options, clearer threshold guidance and a simpler configuration flow.

It’s another step towards our goal of making Parvamoti a more proactive monitoring platform, moving from reliable monitoring data towards timely information and action.

What’s new in Parvamoti? – Part 2 of 3: Understand settlement relative to your project baseline

In the second part of our Parvamoti update series, we’re highlighting the 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗼𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱.

This allows users to analyse soil level and ground plate height relative to the initial project baseline, making it easier to follow settlement development and recognise movement trends over time.

The dashboard also brings these measurements together visually, with the option to review individual measurements, averaged values and export the data for further analysis.
