Houten, July 9, 2025 – Basetime, a specialist in autonomous precision monitoring of ground movement, has successfully closed a new investment round. ROM Utrecht Region, Value Creation Capital, and Ernij Next are jointly investing in the further growth of the company. This funding will enable Basetime to strengthen its mission: making autonomous measurement solutions globally available to enhance safety and sustainability.

Building strong momentum

In recent years, Basetime has focused intensively on product development and the exploration of new markets. This investment accelerates the company’s expansion into new markets, the optimization of its platform, and continued technological innovation. CEO Martijn Arkesteijn explains:

“The foundation of Basetime is solid. The product, software, and platform are ready. Now is the time to scale up, optimize our products and services, and contribute to global challenges: monitoring aging infrastructure and increasingly frequent landslides to create a safer working and living environment.”

From pioneer to global player

Basetime develops autonomous measurement solutions that provide near-real-time insights into movements of soil, water levels, and structures. The Locator One and the Parvamoti platform combine smart sensor technology with powerful data processing.

“With Locator One and Parvamoti, Basetime has developed a high-quality and unique product with a strong value proposition that is recognized by the market,” says Joyce Houterman, Investment Manager at ROM Utrecht Region. “With its innovative technology and skilled team, Basetime has all the ingredients to become the standard in geodetic monitoring. Together with our fellow investors, we look forward to supporting Basetime in its continued growth and product development.”

Investors Value Creation Capital and Ernij Next also acknowledge the scalability and public value of Basetime’s solutions.

“This investment enables Basetime to further develop its products, opening up new markets such as landslide, object, and water level monitoring,” says Ronald Wissink, Managing Partner at Value Creation Capital. “With this, Basetime takes a major step toward a future where near-real-time insights into surface changes are available globally, making a significant contribution to the early detection of risks and better protecting people, infrastructure, and the environment.”

Erik Nijhuis from Ernij Next also supports this development:

“Accurate movement monitoring, combined with a platform for management and data analysis, creates a unique proposition. Basetime not only reduces costs but, just as importantly, improves safety. Basetime makes reliable geodetic data possible. With a driven, enthusiastic, and focused management team, this investment enables Basetime to take the next step in its growth, and we are proud to be part of that journey.”

Mission and vision: precision for a safer future

Basetime contributes to a safer and more sustainable world by providing reliable measurement data. The company is transforming industries like infrastructure, water management, and urban development with its autonomous and highly accurate monitoring solutions.

What’s new in Parvamoti? Part 3 of 3: View Movement Parallel and Perpendicular to Your Asset

For Object Monitoring projects, movement can now be viewed in relation to the actual direction of the asset.

By defining the Angle Linear Asset, Parvamoti can visualise displacement parallel and perpendicular to the structure, making it easier to understand whether movement is occurring along or across bridges, railways, roads and other linear assets.

A clearer way to interpret movement. More context for your monitoring data.

INTERGEO 2026 recap: three days of monitoring in Munich

INTERGEO 2026 is a wrap!
We had three great days in Munich, meeting people from across the geospatial and monitoring industry and talking about projects, monitoring challenges and the possibilities of automated GNSS monitoring.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the Basetime booth.

Introducing Alerts in Parvamoti

Monitoring shouldn’t mean continuously checking a dashboard to see whether something has changed.

With Alerts in Parvamoti, users can define relevant movement conditions and automatically notify the right people by email, SMS or both when those conditions are met.

That means less time spent manually checking monitoring dashboards, greater oversight of changing conditions and more focus on what happens next.

With the latest Alerts V2 update, we’ve expanded this functionality with more precise device targeting, new movement comparison options, clearer threshold guidance and a simpler configuration flow.

It’s another step towards our goal of making Parvamoti a more proactive monitoring platform, moving from reliable monitoring data towards timely information and action.

In our latest newsletter, we introduce Alerts in Parvamoti and take a closer look at what the new functionality offers.

What’s new in Parvamoti? – Part 2 of 3: Understand settlement relative to your project baseline

In the second part of our Parvamoti update series, we’re highlighting the 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗼𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱.

This allows users to analyse soil level and ground plate height relative to the initial project baseline, making it easier to follow settlement development and recognise movement trends over time.

The dashboard also brings these measurements together visually, with the option to review individual measurements, averaged values and export the data for further analysis.

Read Part 2 to learn more about how Relative Settlement provides clearer context for settlement monitoring.
