2022: a positive year for Basetime during which we experienced great growth and executed no fewer than 20 projects. In doing so, we did not limit ourselves to our borders, we strayed far beyond them. Aside from projects in the Benelux and Germany, our Locator Ones took measurements as far away as the Philippines. This enabled us to make great strides in realising our international ambitions.
Collaborations
We have also been able to start some great collaborations. Since this year, the Locator One can be rented and leased at Boels Survey & Laser, a division of Boels Rental. This way, we can reach a wider audience with our measurement solution.
We find it important that our target group can experience the advantages of the Locator One. That’s why, together with Boels, we have launched a campaign where companies can trial our devices free of charge for a month. This consists of four test Locator Ones, one of which serves as a base station. The configuration of the devices and the API or dashboard and setting up the project environment are also included. This way, anyone interested can see what using the Locator One brings, in an accessible way.
New applications
The Locator One is not only very useful for settlement plate measurements, but several other applications are also possible. This is what we have been working hard on, this year. As an example, think of the possibilities when monitoring sheet piling walls and excavation pits, as well as setting up other 3D object monitoring. In addition, several APIs and links to commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) management applications are under development.
2023, here we come
A lot is in store for Basetime in 2023. Right now, we can’t elaborate too much on that, but a serious step is coming. When the time comes, we will of course share what this entails. What we can already tell you is that we will be expanding. This applies to both our team and our area of operation.
