Automated GNSS Settlement Monitoring, United States
Settlement Rod Monitoring
Project duration: 14 months
Purpose: Soft former farmland required safe tracking of settlement during wick-drain and surcharge-loading ground improvement.
Solution: Deploying 30 Locator One sensors enabled automated monitoring up to 12 times per day, giving the client accurate consolidation insight for a safer, predictable construction while reducing manual surveying risks.
Landslide Monitoring Hörbranz, Vorarlberg, Austria
Landslide Monitoring
Project duration: November 2023 – ongoing
Purpose: A continuously shifting landslide required reliable detection of ground movement to support safe stabilization efforts.
Solution: Deploying Locator One units enabled continuous GNSS-based tracking of slope movement, allowing early displacement detection and supporting informed decision-making that improved safety and reduced risk to people and property.
Landslide Monitoring I-40, Asheville, North Carolina, United States
Landslide Monitoring
Project duration: May 2025
Purpose: The area faced active slope instability with a risk of sudden ground movement impacting road safety.
Solution: 4 Locator One devices were installed along the landslide-prone I-40 corridor near Asheville. Continuous remote monitoring provided the client with direct insight into ground shifts, enabling timely road closures and greatly reducing liability risks.
Water Level Monitoring Polder PWN, North Holland
Water Level Monitoring
Project duration: 2022 – present
Purpose: Rising drought periods increased the need for frequent, accurate water-level monitoring to maintain water quality and manage hydraulic pressure.
Solution: Deploying 20 Locator One units enabled continuous automated measurements, helping the client protect the retention area and secure a sustainable supply of clean drinking water.
Building Monitoring, Claes de Vrieselaan, Rotterdam, The Netherlands
Object Monitoring
Project duration: May 2023 – November 2024
Purpose: A WWII bomb located 8 m underground required safe excavation while nearby buildings faced potential deformation risks.
Solution: 4 Locator One units continuously monitored structural movement, giving the client reliable insight into building stability, supporting safer demolition, preventing damage, protecting residents, and reducing overall liability exposure.
Rail Track Monitoring at Coomera, Australia
Object Monitoring
Project duration: November 2024 – ongoing
Purpose: Monitoring the stability of the rail track bedding during nearby civil works to prevent operational disruptions and safety risks.
Solution: Deploying 12 Locator One devices provided the client with fast, continuous insight into track stability, supporting safe operability, accurate speed restrictions, minimizing disruptions, and reducing liability exposure.
Bridge Structural Monitoring, Haringvliet, Numansdorp, the Netherlands
Object Monitoring
Project duration: Summer 2023
Purpose: Monitoring the bridge structure during renovation to detect deformation and ensure stability under varying loads, tides, and temperature.
Solution: Deploying 5 Locator One units provided the client with continuous, precise 3D movement insights, enabling a safer renovation, proactive risk management, and reducing the potential for structural damage.
Monitoring of Tunnel Entrances - River Noord, Alblasserdam, the Netherlands
Object Monitoring
Project duration: July 2024 – December 2028
Purpose: Monitoring both tunnel entrances to capture natural behavior and external influences, ensuring safe renovation planning.
Solution: Deploying 4 Locator One units provided the client with continuous, precise monitoring, giving objective reference data that mitigates liability risks and supports informed decision-making for all stakeholders.
RHESI Levee Monitoring, Alpine Rhine Valley, Austria and Switzerland
Object Monitoring
Project duration: January 2025 – ongoing
Purpose: Monitoring levee and river‑bank behaviour under changing hydraulic loads to improve flood safety and protect surrounding communities.
Solution: Deploying 178 Locator One units provided continuous insight into levee stability, enabling automated alerts for critical movements, supporting a safer living environment, and improving flood resilience for the client.
Sheet Pile Monitoring, A16 Rotterdam, the Netherlands
Object Monitoring
Project duration: 2022 – 2024
Purpose: Monitoring sheet-pile walls along the River De Rotte during motorway construction to ensure safe working conditions and structural stability.
Solution: Deploying 12 Locator One units provided the client with continuous, precise insight into wall movement, supporting the maintenance of safer conditions and reducing the risk of structural failure.
