Fremantle Bridge Monitoring

Fremantle (Perth, Australia)
Project duration:  January 2024 – August 2025

The 1937 Fremantle Bridge is being closely monitored during the construction of a new bridge directly beside it. As building activities may influence the existing structure, continuous insight into movements and height variations is essential. Basetime technology enables this long-term monitoring with high-quality measurement data.

Locator One device mounted on the historic Fremantle Bridge for continuous bridge monitoring during nearby construction, capturing precise positional and height movements.
Insight into old-bridge movements enabling safe usability and reduced liability.

Project Purpose

To safeguard the structural integrity of the existing Fremantle Bridge and collect precise data on positional and vertical changes throughout the construction of the new bridge.

Implemented Solution

Basetime’s Locator One technology is deployed to capture highly accurate positional and height measurements. Continuous data analysis detects deviations at an early stage, ensuring safe traffic use while reducing liability risks for all involved stakeholders.
